Projects, projects, projects!

We got to visit Brads uncle Deav, he is home now and doing better. After visiting him we went and saw the Salt Lake City Temple lights!
It was freezing! 15 degrees but it was so fun!

We have been so busy! Christmas is only days away and we are accomplishing many projects! With my sewing and Brad working we were able to build a new desk for our office! Which has given us so much more room compared to our old bulky one.

I plan on redoing the file cabinet and painting the desk too!

I made this cute bow tie along with many others for Daxton!
He's do active and crazy! Always getting into everything haha!
We went to his 9 month appointment (which was closer to 10 months) and he is as healthy as can be!
And always happy:)
See what I mean?! Happy boy!
Brad and I were also in charge of our ward Christmas Party. Brunch, photo booths and activies. So much fun! We also made the cute centerpieces.
With a budget of $25 for 25 tables I say we did good!
Projects galor! Like I said.... We have been busy! I love how it turned out though!! Actually I'm obsessed!! I've been dying to do this for easily a year and finally did it.
Last thing I made was this cute hat for Daxton!
I love my crazy and fun family! I'm so thankful for our health and for our wonderful blessings! It's been such a great few years and I'm excited to be starting a new one soon!!

Christmas Festivities & Life Throwing Curve Balls

Christmas is two weeks away and our shopping is finished and there is a foot of snow outside. We are freezing our buns off! We are lucky if we hit 20 degrees. It's been bitter outside and Icey! Ek!
Daxton got an awesome wagon from Ann and David Feinstein customized with his name and all!
Little to say he is excited! If only it weren't so cold!
Daxton loved meeting Santa! No crying either! Score!
See what I mean? Brr!!!!
This active munchkin makes every outing so much more fun!
We are so lucky to have him!
Before we went to Arizona we were informed Brads Uncle Deav has a brain tumor. They removed it and the path report was received last night. Unfortunately it's stage 4 and can be treated not cured. It has been so hard to deal with. It makes us so sad! We are doing what we can to help and support but it's a struggle for us all.
Please keep them and our family in your prayers.

Biggest Snow Storm Yet!

We have had snow falling all night and all day and no signs of stopping!

Daxton has slept amazing all day and I've actually accomplished quite a few tasks. It's been great but lonely!
I miss my little buddy! It must be a growth spurt because he slept 14 hours last night and took two 2 hour naps! Whew!
Daxton LOVES looking at the Christmas tree and luckily hasn't felt the need to touch it much other than a random poke here and there. (Seriously, one finger out and he pokes it while he stares)
He has taken 3 steps now and is crawling faster than I ever anticipated!
Sorry this picture isn't great but he just discovered stairs too! Who knew he'd know how to climb them first try?!
We loved visiting Arizona for Thanksgiving!!
Daxton got to meet his cousins for the first time and we got to meet sweet little Mauri! It was so awesome having Emily, Gabe and the kiddos in Arizona at the same time!
We went with Brads sister and parents to pick out Daxton's and my very first REAL Christmas tree! I'm loving it!
And now I'm currently being jealous of my parents and sisters partying it up in Disneyland without us!
Totally jealous right? (Who wouldn't want these leggings??)
They've made sure to send many pictures to further my jealousy! Haha!
We got a fun package in the mail from Great Grandma Barr! A photobook of me as a baby growing up, a scarf and a nerusuit that my dad, uncles, cousin and brother all wore. So we must join the tradition right?!
Lastly, I've definately got to document Daxton's first disaster! Mallory have Daxton her eye liner to play with... Yup! Lesson learned!
Happy holidays!
