Summer Is Coming To A Close

We are all incredibly excited about baby coming in just 9 quick weeks. Hopefully Daxton stays this excited once she arrives. Let me just tell you how hard it is coming up with baby names. Our list consisted of 15-20 names and the name we picked was never even on the list. Even with Daxton I've always had the impression that the name will simply "feel" right and I will know. After thinking Quinnlee was her name for a month it just didn't "feel" right. So onto reexamining names... McKinlee! That has to be it. We were even calling her by it for about 4-5 weeks. Just a few days ago I was watching tv and heard the name. Her name. It immediately clicked. Just like it did with Daxton. We are very excited about it and cannot wait to meet our sweet baby girl!

Daxton loves to show off his muscles. Everywhere and to everyone.
There is no better way to enjoy the summer then to spend it on the porch with otter pops!
Or with his pink pool... We wanted the blue one but it had a hole. Dang it!
Daxton just started nursery. It hasn't been easy. He hates being away I from Brad and I as of late. As sweet as it is, the break is also much needed for us both! Haha. His favorite part of church is the walk, or run, to and from!
Yup, daily occurrence. Until he stood on it and crushed it. He has been.  Quite sad since then.
If you ever see Daxton running around our house he usually has my inhaler. Aka his "beeu beeu". He truly thinks it's a gun.. Boys will be boys I guess!
Our garden has been a huge success. Zucchini as big As Daxton!
This poor kid has been so stir crazy with me being 30 weeks pregnant and tired. We do our best to have daily walks to the park and playing with bubbles. I'd say the bubbles are his fav!
Another garden picture. He knows just which ones to pick and loves every kind of berry!
This has been new. He has recently fallen asleep and stayed asleep on me a few times. It really is the best thing ever to snuggle my little buddy again! His independence makes it a struggle at times.
Also, never look away. Even when you have to pee really really bad... I ran to my bathroom, gone maybe 45 seconds... By the way I never rolled it back up. It is currently still on the bathroom counter.
I've been doing my very best to work out and be more active in hopes it'll give me more energy. This is Daxton and I doing some wall sits. Love my little mimic.
One of our favorite pass times. Visiting the mall and riding all the cars!
Leaving is not our favorite, and I'm sure the surrounding people don't appreciate the screaming tantrum!

The park with dad is always the most fun! Monkey bars and underdogs and playing tag!

I had to get a picture of his obsessing over the airplane he saw.

Probably my favorite picture ever. Daxton in this hat, with that toothy grin just about kills me!
I'm pretty sure we can't leave the store without a purchase for this spoiled and well loved little monster!
Here is one of the cutest moments. Daxton holding onto Brad while they over look an "atchu" (tractor). He LOVES watching them but is too scared to go outside. Instead he sat here with his daddy for at least 30 minutes watching tractors and squishing bugs in the window at Grandma Brenda's.

Summer of 2014

Another 3 months have flown by since I last posted, and while my loving husband continues to eagerly remind me to update the blog I get side tracked so easily. It could be because of our crazy toddler ruling the house, the chores I start (and never finish?), or the unexplable tiredness I get from being 24 weeks pregnant!
It is so strange to think we will be moving from being a family of 3 to a family of 4... I have yet to "nest", or to decorate rooms, or to buy many clothes (she may end up wearing her brothers clothes if I dont get on it sooner or later!). We are beyond thrilled to have this new addition, I am nervous to move to having two kids though. That will definately be an adjustment. A wonderful one at that. I often find myself just sitting and watching Daxton run around and play wondering where in the world did my little baby go?? I feel like it was yesterday that he entered this world with that head full of hair and that incredibly contagious personality. How did I get so lucky to be his mom? How did we get so lucky to be parents to such an adventerous and sweet little boy? Everyday I am thankful for his smile. Everyday I am thankful for the amazing chance I have to be with him daily and watch him grow. I can only imagine the struggle moms that work have... Leaving their babies daily and missing so many milestones. I am so thankful for Brad working everyday without complaint and coming home and helping cook, clean, and chase around this little boy. He is the reason we are able to live such a comfortable life. The reason that this little boy is so smart, and funny. He gets it from his dad. I am so proud of the man my husband is and the father he continues to be daily.
This little girl, whatever her name ends up being (which is proving to be quite a challenge..), will be so incredibly loved and cherished. I cannot wait for her to come home with us and for the newest adventure coming to us in only a short 3-4 months.
While the weather has been warm and uneventful... We are making due with the sprinklers, bath tubs, pools and splash pads whenever is possible. Playing outside is not as enjoyable when its 100 degrees. I know I have little to complain about but couldnt it just be a perfect 70 degrees all the time? I know I know... Not possible... A girl can dream though right?
Daxton and I head down to Arizona (115 degrees blech!) in about 3-4 weeks for about 10 days while Brad does his yearly hunting trip. Now I know I gripe about this hunting and the consistant conversations about deer, bows, 4-wheelers and whatever else this time of year entails, but I am so glad he has such a passion for something he loves. I am quite positive Daxton and our other children will come to love it just as much as he does, and when that happens they will be right up there on that moutain along side him.
Okay, thats a fake moutian obviously, but you get the picture.
Until next time..

Updates & Changes Continue to Swirl!

Our lives have not slowed in the last few weeks. We backed out of building the home in Payson after much thought and prayer. It was a hard choice but our town home wasn't selling at that point. Within a matter of hours of backing out we had an offer on our home and found a new one!
We decided to move to Spanish Fork. Where we had always wanted to end up in the first place. It's a beautiful home with a great backyard! We moved in the Friday before Easter. We have now been here a week and we are officially unpacked.
We get our flooring on the main floor redone this week. Which is exciting but hard because we have been all over the place for 3-4 weeks.
We also found out we are expecting a new bundle of joy! Baby Hutchings #2 is due November 19th! We are beyond thrilled!
Easter was good to us! Beautiful weather, great family, and many firsts for Daxton!
Who doesn't love a egg hunt?!
In other news our poor boy got sick for the first time. He had a fever for three days, a bad cough, runny nose, cut another tooth and an ear infection. After four long days he is feeling much better.
We are truly loving our new home and we are excited to continue with this new adventure! Can't wait to share more shortly!

Exciting Times!

Let me start out by saying we got a call from a couple to come look at our home while we were out at Gma & Gpa Hutch's. It was someone interested in walking through our home. So we left Daxton with them and ran home to get some cleaning done.
They came and loved the home, after an hour of lots of questions and us getting to know each other they left and said we will chat and let you know.
If anyone knows how hard it is to sell a home FSBO, let me just say it's so hard to do on top of another home dead line and 1000 other things keeping us distracted and busy. We have had 6 or so people love it and walk through but nothing 100% yet.
After the end of the second week I just was unbelievably stressed. After praying, fasting and doing everything in our power we let it go (not gave up but more so trusted in The Lord that whatever happens happens.). With that being said, the weight off my shoulders disappeared almost instantly. Our new home possibly in our future or a different one. Who knew at this point.
Anyways... Back on the subject. It is midnight and I GOT THE TEXT! They asked to meet Wednesday to fill out the paper work! WHAT?!? My excitement is killing me. Everyone is sickly and asleep and here I am so so excited but I can't sleep because I feel like poop too! Haha!! Oh well! I'm just so happy that this is snowballing into something pretty dang exciting.
Happy Sunday!

Big Decisions & A Big Adventure

After more than a year of careful consideration and going back and forth we have made the jump into building a new home! Yup! It's happening people! It felt like we would never find something we loved, but after many prayers and lots of thinking we finally found our new home!
We found a property down in Payson Utah with a great view and a big lot!

After spending time signing contract and hanging out in the model home for hours it is exciting!
Listing our home now was a difficult choice because we love our home and our ward!
It has been a challenge making a bunch of choices on exactly how we want our home to look!
The Gilbert Temple is now finished and my family got to go walk through it. I am so jealous that I couldn't myself, but I will get to soon enough!

This sweet boy keeps my days full of fun and keeps me super busy chasing after him. He has the best personality!

Our newest nephew to Daxton's delight was born on the 26th of Janurary at 8:11 PM. We got the chance to meet little Aiden and watch a joy he brings to our whole family.
We are so excited for next month, our little Daxton is turning 1! My goodness this year has blown past us.

Snow Day!

Brad and I haven't been sledding in years! So what better to do than test out my new camera and enjoy the winter! Daxton loved it too! Grandma and Grandpa Hutchings had a baby sled which made it even more fun!
With very few wipe outs (one being Brads) we left exhausted, hungry but loved every minute and so did Daxton!
Our walkig little man chases after Dad everytime that he leaves for work.
I had fun practicing with my camera once again and I got some cute Valentines Day  pictures of him!
Who doesn't love this face!
Brad and I got to enjoy a date night going to the Provo Temple after WAY too long! It's such a blessing to have such a beautiful place so close to home! I know I am definately ready to go back again! It's such a peaceful place to run!

Someone stole Grandpa Hucthings glasses!
Oh boy... :)
