Halloween & Winter fun!

We had so much fun on Halloween Trick or Treating with Daxton! (I guess I should say Trunk or Treating). Either way it was a fun first to experience! 

Daxton is now speed crawling, climbing, clapping and has (thankfully) stayed far from the stairs. I'm dreading tackling that!  He is now 8 1/2 months old and is enjoying being so independent. The teething monster has officially graced us with its presence. Let me just say we are not fans! No matter what we do it's definately been a struggle. Mainly with the naps and bedtime. Poor thing! 

Daxton has many loves! 

1- Being standing. 

2- Eating everything!

3- The camera. 

We have also encountered a new allergy in our family, or should I say Brad, he is apparently over night he became allergic to either Ibeprophen or Aleeve. Which he has had both before. He ended up covered in this insane "allergic eruption". After speaking with 3 doctors and 1 dermatologist we finally got answers and a cure. Whew! 

I couldn't be more proud of my perfect little family! We are thriving with each other and learning so so much! I dont know what I would do without them! They're truly the light of my life and make me so happy! 

I snuck a few pictures the other day while I was busy on a project and Brad and Daxton were hanging out. Brad is the definition of an amazing Dad! He loves spending as much time as possible with him! Watching football, sharing his food and reading him books. Let me just tell you that hearing Brad read to Daxton is probably the sweetest thing! It melted my heart! 

Time with this boy is such a blessing. We are so lucky to have been blessed with this special little spirit in our home and lives.

Hello Holidays!

We are so excited to enjoy our first holiday with Daxton! Halloween, Thanksgiving in Arizona and Christmas at home! It's going to be so fun to enjoy his firsts. The summer went by to fast like always, and Daxton is growing like a weed. He is 8 months next week. I cannot believe our little guy is crawling and learning so many things! 

Brad is such a great Dad! He is loving every second of teaching Daxton and snuggling of course! 

We loved having my family here visiting. We went fishing Which Daxton couldn't get enough of. 

We rode horses and took Famiy pictures for our Christmas pictures. 

Daxton got to know them better and they got to enjoy seeing him grow more into the little man he is! 

Taking Daxton to the park is a highlight of his day and leaving.. As you can tell, didn't go over well! 

He is trying so hard to be on the move. With the crawling and standing. He will be walking in no time!

Daxton got to play with cousin Chloe and in the leaves while we canned Applesauce yesterday. We made tons!

We also have canned green beans, peaches and salsa this year too! 

I'd say it's been a great year so far! Watching our favorite little boy grow has been so wonderful. It's been such a learn experience. We truly are blessed to have each other in our Family.

5 1/2 Months and Summer Bliss!

We have been such party animals this summer. Something going on each day. From BBQ's to Rodeo's and so on..

Daxton is becoming mobile. Rolling around an basically having his hands in everything. He is eating solids like a champ and loves to chew on just about anything. 

Brad and I have been soaking up every minute. I can't even begin to tell you the amount of pictures we have of this little dude. 

I can't believe all the wonderful and stressful things that go into being a parent. Sleep?... What is that? Seriously though... 5 1/2 months without sleep. 

We are Arizona bound soon and cannot wait to visit again. Fun in the sun with Grandma and Great-Grandma(whom Dax has yet to meet) and plenty of play time with his Grandpa and Aunts. Counting down and so pumped!

15 weeks and growing!

This baby boy is now 15 weeks old. I know I keep saying its crazy how fast time passes but it really is! He is about 25 in and 13 lbs. I know seems small but he loves sitting up, talking, (constantly!!! I mean any time he is awake he is talking.) rolled over for the first time, laughing and smiling. 

Man being a mom is the best! Mother's Day was so much fun! I love not cooking and changing diapers all day! I'm sure Brad feels the same about Father's Day coming up so soon! 

We flew to Arizona for a few days so my Dad and sisters could meet Dax! My mom came up after he was born but was just as excited. This little boy is so spoiled! He did great on the flight. Slept both ways! Swam for the first time and loves every second. 

He still isn't sleeping through the night but he is getting better at sleeping longer lengths and falling asleep by himself. 

Brad and I are so lucky to have Dax! Bad and I have been running in the mornings together. It's been great aside from the exhaustion I feel stronger! Dax enjoys it too :) he just giggles the whole time, such a good sport. 

Ill try to get better at posting! Life just gets so busy! I'm sure you understand :)

Dax is 12 weeks!

My baby bogus getting so big! His personality is starting to shine that's for sure. We are loving every second!

He had his first belly laugh yesterday. Brad and I were both there which made is so much more special. He loves trying to sit up and stand. He is so smiley! 

He is a total daddy's boy. 

We are still trying to get him to sleep through the night, but he's been sick so it's been hard. 

We are so excited to go to Arizona here soon and spend time with my family! It'll be the first time for my sisters and dad to see him. 

I am loving every minute of being a mom. It's not always easy but it is a blessing. 

7 Weeks Old!

It's been a long but quick three weeks. I can't believe he is already 7 weeks!! My little boy is getting so big. He is so much fun to spend every second with. He loves to giggle, smile, and he is starting to talk to us too. It's so sweet! Aside from the colic he is a little angel. Nights are usually the only time it's really rough.
I couldn't be luckier to have Brad by my side. He is the best husband and daddy! He is super helpful and loves to play with Dax. He especially loves how Dax is recognizing him. It's so sweet to see them together.
We have a wonderful photographer who has taken Daxtons newborn pictures at 4 days old as well as a family lifestyle shoot. The pictures turned out amazing and I am so excited to hang them in the house.
We have had a lot going on in our lives recently. We just sold my Mazda 3 last night, which means I can go get a new one! Yay!! I am so excited to get a bigger car and to be higher up. I just want Daxton as safe as possible and a bigger car will do just that.
On Sunday we blessed Daxton, it was amazing to have family here with us to celebrate. Although I was so sad to not have my side here to be with us I know they were in our hearts and thoughts. We are so lucky to have the Priesthood in our life and to have a worthy husband and father to bless us with it. He always puts us first and makes sure we are happy and have everything we could want or need.
I love our little family so much and can't wait for our future and for the future Daxton will have! Seeing him grow up is the best blessing I could ever ask for!
